... in a country of the European Economic Area

You are a citizen of a Member state of the European Economic Area (member state of the European Union and Iceland, Norway, Lichtenstein and Switzerland), you have a qualification delivered in one of those countries and you are professionally fully qualified in one of those countries.

 

In that case you can contact the authorities and instances competent in Belgium for the regulated professions under the rules of directive 2005/36/CE on the recognition of professional qualifications. 

TEACHER PROFESSION

You wish to teach in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (except for university education which is not considered a regulated profession), you are a EEA nationals and you are fully qualified teacher in the sense of the European directive 2005/36/CE
