You degree was NOT issued in a country of the European Economic Area

Your degree was delivered by a foreign higher education institution fully recognised by the competent authorities in charge of higher education in this country and the study programme is accredited by those authorities. 

The documents to supply (by registered mail) are the following:

 

  • a certified copy of the degree as well as, if the documents are not written in French or in English, a translation by a sworn translator duly certified by the competent Belgian (Tribunal of 1st  instance) or foreign authority;
  • a certified copy of the academic transcripts as well as, if the documents are not written in French or in English, a translation by a sworn translator duly certified by the competent Belgian (Tribunal of 1st  instance) or foreign authority;
  • a copy of any diploma supplement ;
  • identity card;
  • a curriculum vitae (CV).

 

The fee for this procedure corresponds to 200€ (or 150€ for certificates issued in a country benefiting from official development assistance. Refugees and beneficiaries of the subsidy protection are exempted from the procedure fees. 

After receipt of the complete file, the application will be handled within 4 months maximum
